1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Veilo, Inc. ("Veilo", "we", "our", or "us") governing your use of the Veilo VPN service, including our iOS app, macOS app, and the website at veilo.dev (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Veilo is a multi-protocol VPN service that encrypts your internet connection and routes your traffic through our servers to protect your privacy. The Service supports three protocols: VLESS+REALITY, WireGuard, and Hysteria2.
The Service is available for iOS and macOS devices. Access requires a valid Veilo account and an active subscription plan.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@veilo.dev if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
5.1 Plans
Veilo offers subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Ultimate) billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is available at veilo.dev/#pricing.
5.2 Free Trial
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends through the App Store.
5.3 Billing
All subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. Billing, payment processing, and subscription management are governed by Apple's terms. Veilo does not directly process payments.
5.4 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your App Store account settings.
5.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price changes. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days, contact us at support@veilo.dev for a full refund.
Refund requests after 30 days are subject to review. Refunds are processed through the App Store and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Engaging in any illegal activity, including accessing prohibited content
- Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data (hacking)
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
- Copyright infringement or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
- Conducting denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance
- Circumventing sanctions or export control regulations
- Reselling or redistributing access to the Service without prior written authorization
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement where required.
8. No-Log Policy
Veilo maintains a strict no-log policy. We do not log, monitor, or store your VPN activity, browsing history, DNS queries, IP addresses, or connection timestamps. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice. In the event of permanent discontinuation, we will provide a prorated refund for any unused subscription period.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and content, is owned by Veilo, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. VPN technology provides strong privacy protections but is not an absolute guarantee of anonymity. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VEILO, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VEILO IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veilo, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
If you are in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country may apply regardless of the governing law clause.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the App Store. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections 10–14 survive termination.
